- In order to alienate valuable immovable or movable property the province’s economic council must decide whether there is sufficient reason for this, must make a written evaluation of the matter and indicate what is a fair price, having consulted lay experts as well, if that be necessary.
- In general, contracts to rent cannot be made without consulting the economic council beforehand. Furthermore, a superior cannot make a rental contract without the consent of his council.
